I was given the opportunity to sample one of Schwan's meals. I decided to choose the sushi variety pack. I've been craving sushi but knowing that my kids won't eat it, I haven't treated myself to any...until now!
I love how sushi is low in calories yet it keeps me satisfied.
Yummy!! I couldn't wait to try this out. In the package, there were 2 trays of sushi, ginger, wasabi, soy sauce and 2 sets of chopsticks.
I removed it from the vacuumed sealed bag, placed it on a plate and put it in the fridge to defrost. I couldn't wait to taste it. I love sushi!
Dinner is served! Easy peasy!! This is what I was having:
Shrimp & avocado
Salmon & cream cheese
Spicy imitation crab, asparagus & red bell pepper
The verdict...
It was really tasty. I will admit the rice was a bit hard, I assume it was caused by the flash freeze process. The center of the rolls were really moist and full of flavor.
I would definitely order this again. I love that they deliver. It makes grocery shopping and meal planning so easy.

ReplyDeleteWOW it's been so long since we have ordered from Schwan's and sushi? They didn't have that when we used them previously. Might have to take a look and have a delivery.
ReplyDeleteWe actually stopped using them because of the last two delivery guys. Not very professional but we always loved the food (and that was way before I started living a healthier lifestyle).
