When the opportunity to receive a pair of sunglasses to review presented itself, I jumped on it. Ever since I got LASIK, I always have a pair of sunglasses with me. I want to protect my "new eyes" as much as possible.
The Sunglasses Shop, which stocks almost every known brand, came to my rescue. If you haven't heard of them, here is a little bit of background information:
They were kind enough to send me a pair of Running Sunglasses, which is exactly what I needed. Up until now, I have been wearing my stylish Oakleys. Don't get me wrong, I love love love my Oakley Sunglasses but they fog up when I run and that's very annoying.
These sunglasses are called the "ultimate sports sunglass" for a number of reasons. The second to last one had me sold! No more wiping my lenses during my runs - WINNING!!
I was able to test them out on my 12 mile Team In Training group run. These sunglasses are awesome and fit me perfectly. They are so lightweight, it felt like I wasn't wearing anything. It was super cold and windy that day and these sunglasses didn't budge!
Don't mind my expression. I had a particularly bad run that day and I was a bit upset. These have now replaced my beloved Oakleys when it comes to running.

I received a pair of Dirty Dog Sunglasses. They are powder blue and came with a soft carrying case. I couldn't wait to try them out on my next run.

I have an older pair of Oakleys that are my running sunglasses and the exact same but newer pair are my everyday sunglasses. I have a very hard time finding ones that fit my smaller face so I stick with what works ;)

ReplyDeleteI don't run in sunglasses. I should, but simply wear a visor or hat when I remember. I need to remember, not good for my aging skin!
