CORE Foods

A few weeks ago I received a package in the mail from CORE Foods. I was pretty excited because I love getting stuff in the mail. After opening it, I immediately put my goodies in the fridge since they were perishable. CORE Meals last 6 months frozen, 1 month refrigerated, and 1 week on the go.

If you haven't heard of CORE Foods, here is some background information:

On a quest to get to the bottom of human nutrition, our founder Corey Rennell trained with elite athletes, researched the biology of food and lived with 12 tribes from around the world. Remarkably, he discovered the most profound and consistent things we know about nutrition are REALLY SIMPLE. At CORE, we apply this enduring wisdom to make convenient, healthy, food. Inspired by the inherent reciprocity of the traditional people Corey lived with, CORE Foods is a not-for-profit B Corporation, with 100% of profit being reinvested in food, community, and the planet. We believe that healthy food is a human right and we strive to separate food from profit in the way we do business.

I LOVED these! It was like eating a bowl of vegan oatmeal and super filling. Plus each bar only has 5 ingredients so you know exactly what you are putting into your body.

My favorite was the raw cashew cacao. It combined my two favorite things...cashews and chocolate.

I know you want to try some for yourself! Go like CORE Foods on Facebook, you’ll get a coupon for $5 off any online order AND you can also enter to win a free case!

Have you tried CORE Foods?

***CORE Foods sent me samples to try out but all opinions are my own***

  1. So many bars are filled with crap. These are awesome!

  2. I have, I liked them the first time, but second time the local co-op had them in a fridge for way too long and they went bad. They never bought more, just a bit expensive for the market out here.

  4. Great review! I definitely agree that the basics of good nutrition is pretty simple. I know I'd love the raw cashew cacao one, too!
