Today felt like a Monday, minus the loads of never-ending laundry.
Thankfully, it's Tuesday but for whatever reason, I was dragging.

I managed to knockout 2 NTC workouts (arm definer and leg sculptor) and my #plankaday plank this morning.
However, I still felt blah. It has to be the weather. I think the high today was 25 degrees. If it's going to be that cold, then there better be some damn snow on the ground.
Here is the temperature when I got home from the rec center. That is too cold for the Southern California native.
I had 3 miles at half-marathon pace on the schedule. I wasn't looking forward to running on the 'mill even though it was only 3 miles, I knew it would feel longer.
I decided to go to the rec center before yoga so I wouldn't have to run after yoga. I jumped on the treadmill and got to it. 27 minutes later, I was done...yay! Now it was time for yoga, which is exactly what I needed.
I love yoga, I mean LOOOOOOVE it. It has helped me in so many ways and I have seen such an improvement in the last year. My Tuesday night class is an all levels class as opposed to my Thursday night class which is a bit more advanced.
Well tonight, Kodi, our instructor had a new balance pose for us. We worked on Bird of Paradise. I am happy to say, I nailed it on the first try! Woot Woot!!
As soon as I came home, I had to show the hubs. I'm such a nerd. So here I am doing bird of paradise:

I don't think I will ever get used to super cold weather which meant that I would have to do my runs on the treadmill.

It's not perfect but pretty darn close. Thankfully my phone was nearby so he was able to snap this picture.
My day didn't start out well but it sure ended on a high note!!
Do you practice yoga? Do you like the balance poses?
